Naples tour

Naples is one of the oldest cities in the world, rich of history, culture and art, located in a natural environment with plenty of archeological treasures. The current urban structure retains elements of its long and eventful history. Found by the Ancient Greeks as Neápolis (New City).

During the tour you will have the opportunity to visit the Duomo, underground Naples, the Chapel of San Gennaro, San Gregorio Armeno (famous for its Christmas Nativity), district Spaccanapoli, Piazza Gesù Nuovo, Santa Chiara Church. Also you will visit the monumental centre of the city to admire: the famous Maschio Angioino, built between 1279 and 1282, by Charles I d’Angiò ; Castel dell’Ovo that stands on the little Megaride island; the Royal Palace. Naples was at the centre of the power from the XVII Century up to the postwar period.

After you will arrive Plebiscito Square. Once there, there will be time to have a real Neapolitan Pizza for lunch (the Pizza Margherita named for the Queen of Italy).

After the lunch you can enjoy , a real Neapolitan Coffee, at Gambrinus, the oldest coffee bar in Naples. Then, you’ll have a little free time for shopping in Roma Street, Toledo Street and Chiaia Street, the trade heart of Naples full of shops and other typical activities.

The last part of the tour is panoramic, you will go to the hills of Naples (via Orazio, via Posillipo) where you’ll have a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Naples. At this point we go down to via Caracciolo along the coast. After discovering and appreciating the beauty and wonders that this splendid city offers, you will return again to your location.
